Reid Bruton’s low bass voice can be heard on the soundtracks of over 100 major motion pictures including Star Wars, Frozen, Finding Dori, Avatar, Minions and Planet of the Apes as well as the Boston Pops Christmas CD singing “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch”. He has appeared on many TV shows including The Academy Awards Show, The Simpsons, Family Guy and The Tonight Show. Reid has sung back-up for artists Barbra Streisand, Adele, Lady Gaga, Andrea Bocelli, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and many others. Living in Los Angeles has allowed Reid a varied career… at L.A. Opera he has sung in the chorus of over 80 productions as well as many supporting roles in such operas as Carmen conducted by Placido Domingo and La Boheme conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. He is also a member of the L.A. Master Chorale with whom he solos regularly at Disney Concert Hall. His Hollywood Bowl debut was shared with Phillip Glass in 2009 as the soloist for Glass’ film score Koyaanisqatsi and he most recently appeared at the Bowl in a production of Tosca with the L.A.
